Gé Ruigt, PhD

Gé Ruigt has over 25 years drug development experience in pharmaceutical Research and Development at Organon, Schering-Plough and Merck. With his background in both preclinical and clinical research his expertise has focused on translational medicine and biomarker-driven drug development bringing compounds from animal research through Phase I to proof of concept testing in patients, especially for neuroscience-related indications. He received his PhD at the University of Utrecht in neuroscience and electrophysiology. He is associate partner of Eagle Rock Life Sciences with focus on translational pharmacology, designing strategies for adding value to compounds in late preclinical and early clinical development.
