Wouter de Graaff, MSc

Wouter de Graaff headed the process and formulation development of polymer-based controlled release products within MSD and legacy companies Schering Plough and Organon Biosciences for 17 years. In this position, he was responsible for the pharmaceutical development of long-acting implants, intravaginal rings and drug releasing intrauterine devices. A distinguishing feature in his approach is an industrial focus with early attention to large-scale manufacturability. Wouter is the inventor of 17+ patents, has gained extensive experience in polymer science and engineering and received a master’s degree in Chemical Engineering from the University of Amsterdam.
